The Myrtles Plantation, circa 1796, One of America's Most Haunted Homes

William Winter Room

The William Winter Room is located on the second floor of the mansion. It has an antique queen size four-poster bed and a private bathroom with a bathtub en suite. It shares a spacious sitting area with The John Leake, The Fannie Williams and The Ruffin Stirling accommodations.

It has a privacy door that may be unlocked to access the adjoining Ruffin Stirling Room, only if requested by guest(s) of BOTH rooms.

This is the room believed to be where Cleo, a local voodoo priestess, was brought to attempt to save a child who was severely ill with Scarlet Fever.
